The first time I saw this place I was amazed such a quiet location and such a majestic house. The inside was as refined as the out with all the sophistication and sleeknes of modern technology but in a discrete tasteful fashion with that country feel to each room. The grounds have a bar and restraunt all within walking distance and teh food I had was fanstastic in a relaxed atmosphere you could get lost out here for weeks ..... lazing around in the sunshine , strolling the beaches or just relaxing on your own in the hot-tub and sauna.
This place is a must have if you are considering a luxury family gathering or get-together. We spent 10 days soaking up the atmosphere at Glen Finart, and thoroughly enjoyed evey minute. From the mist on the mountain tops in the morning to the tranquil sunsets at dawn, we can honestly say that we have NEVER self-catered in such beautiful scenery. If you haven't already, put Culzean House on your "to do" list for next year! The Dixons.
A beautifully restored farmhouse in an absolutely stunning location - the perfect setting for our familyreunion. Beach walks became a daily ritual, late night revivals in the hot-tub were an added luxury. But what made this holiday so different and so relaxing was the on-site catering.
Having the option of your meals brought to you by the chef is fantastic. David prepared all our meals to a very high standard and everyone in our group was catered for in a heartbeat......Thank you David.

Just wanted to say a big thank you for your hospitality and let you know what a great House you have. The welcome that you gave us was first class and I cannot wait to come up again and spend some more time there.
